Flora Day 2010 – Helston
The internationally famous Flora Dance held each year in Helston is on this Saturday the 8th of May. Thousands of people enter the town to enjoy the carnival experience, and watch people dancing up through the street during the day. A spring festival said to pre-date Christianity, the town is decorated with flowers, gorse & laurel leaves. For more on this wonderful occasion visit:
