Golfing gifts

Mark Twain described golf as a good walk spoiled. Any sports person knows though that it’s also about the camaraderie, the toys and the recreation that’s part of it.

With this in mind, here is a couple of examples of essential golf wares, including a pewter tankard beautifully clad in leather and embossed with an image of a golfer. Or a desk clock which coincidentally looks like a golf ball, size and all. Click on an image to take a closer look.

As always we can engrave where possible and gift wrap.

Pewterware

tankard gift

Pewter has been used for tableware and drinking cups since Roman times, and is still being used imaginatively to create attractive and desireable gifts today. Recent deliveries now offer a wide range of tankards and hip flasks, drinking vessels and gifts, which we can engrave on the premises. The tankard in the image comes in its own presentation box.

New items of childrens gifts for birthdays and christenings include money boxes, clocks and cups which will be treasured to become family heirlooms.

Cornish tankards

Cornwall tankardA pewter tankard is a popular gift, and never more so when it is decorated with the coat of arms of the Duke of Cornwall, which is represented by a shield with 15 bezants (gold coins), which is said to be the ransom raised by the people of Cornwall and paid to the Saracens, to free a Duke of Cornwall captured during a Crusade.

As always, this tankard can be engraved by ourselves and wrapped, making it an ideal gift for a leaving present, birthday, graduation and more.
