Camborne Trevithick Day 2019 is on Saturday April 27th. It is a one day festival of free entertainment to celebrate the industrial heritage of the Camborne area. Held annually, It is also a celebration of the life of Richard Trevithick, a Cornishman who is famed for inventing the steam carriage in 1801. The day includes music, dancing, stalls, food and most importantly, actual working Steam engines.
